I understand exactly where you're coming from and, for you, it's about the musical composition and the ability of a great conductor, orchestra or performer to realize what is, in you're opinion, the "heart" of the music.Such a view -- totally valid -- is not the ONLY view. Many of the participants in this forum (and I don't think that you, or anybody else, speaks for this entire forum) are capable of finding TOTAL satisfaction (often admitting some unavoidable trade-offs) with very good performances recorded in excellent sound. Not all new recordings suffer from remixed techno-injection. BUT, some do...I like Star Wars movies too -- they're real, right :-)?
