No need for the attempt at one-upmanship. Regardless of the brand of microphones used, etc., all that matters is, at the playback end, does the sound correlate to what I know (based on the cumulative experiences in my vague memory - LOL!) about the sound produced these types of musicians in the kind of space they're playing in.
