Seriously though, since you do admit that we can judge resolution (and, thus, accuracy) in some cases, I guess the question becomes, how fine a determination of accuracy can we perceive, and how fine a determination of accuracy is necessary? I get the feeling that, because we may not be able to determine the finest degrees of resolution perfectly every time, you want to throw out the baby with the bath water and maintain that we can't determine accuracy at all?
