No that is definitely not what I am trying to tell anyone

But I will say that there is no way anyone can determine the resolution of any system by listening alone, particularly to random recordings of which we know little about in terms of their production. It is very easy to listen to two versions of a recording, one with added distortion of the right flavor and one with no added distortion at all, and perceive the more distorted version as the more accurate version if one doesn't know which one is which in the comparison. You can't *reliably* identify "accuracy" by ear alone. Of course in some cases we can. Like your example. But not always. Not even close
