Home Classical Court

From Perotin to Prokofiev (and beyond), performed by Caruso to Khatia, it's all here.

So many issues. I am going to try to cover specific points separately.

"I argue FOR accuracy - which MUST be the starting point in a home audio system"

You never made an argument for this assertion. And it's a point I completely disagree with. IMO with *any* en devour one starts with two things. 1. What do you have. 2. What do you want the result to be.

But...I would love to hear your argument for the idea that an audiophile must use "accuracy" as a starting point. What does that actually mean to an audiophile doing audio?

As for my starting point... what do *I* have? I have my collection of recordings. I have options of various masterings of those recordings on various formats. What do I want? I want the best sound as per my aesthetic values for those recordings when I play them. As an audiophile that is where I start.
