No sonic spectaculars, at least not on a technical level. One recording I use a lot is the Lyrita CD of Moeran's Sinfonietta and Symphony (Boult). Not technically one of their best: there's not much low bass. and there's even what sounds like some tape deterioration But I'm very familiar with the recording, and it's more representative of the sort of recordings I'm going to be listening to anyway.
