. . . you must have been too self absorbed (with your latest and future posts) to read what others were saying. But I assure you that not everyone sees sexism and racism hiding in quotes from Kanye or comments about the pulchritude of particular female classical musicians.
I'll repeat for you one more time why "the poster" in question was NOT casting doubt on the new Atlanta SO's conductor by saying he had no knowledge of her skills in that realm. He thereby revealed that he was NOT judging her conducting at this point. OTOH, we have ANOTHER poster here who similarly has no knowledge of the conducting skills of this conductor, and is threatened when he is asked questions about his knowledge, trying to turn such questions into supposed doubt about her ability - when no doubt was even expressed. Nevertheless, he wants to enforce a general Boris Godunov type celebration (or maybe the end of Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony!) about such an appointment. In any case, he is the undisputed LEADER of the push for social justice on the classical forum on the Audio Asylum site! ;-)
