It seems as if you are good to go.For me vinyl shines in the midrange, not so much in the frequency extremes. And while vinyl can sound "warmer" and slightly more "expansive" than digital does, I'm pretty sure that is caused by the distortion artifacts inherent in vinyl playback.
But not everyone's brain interprets vinyl's distortion artifacts the same way, I think. Some perceive it as "warmth and expansiveness" while others perceive it as imprecise sound.
