You are probably right, but I'm not sure LP dynamics can ever match digital dynamics.Vinyl shines in the 50hz - 15,000hz range and swinging dynamics are not a problem within that range. The nuances of both frequency extremes are better conveyed by digital, in my opinion. So it is usually the better format for Classical music.
Pitch stability is an issue with vinyl. One aspect of dynamics that is very important in Classical music is pitch stability. Classical music recordings feature a lot of piano music and that is where the superior pitch stability of digital matters most.
