Love your system discription. I see you have a tubed CD player. I have one too. I had an Arcam CD 92 before I bought my Cary 308T. My Viper powercord and Luminous Synchestra Sig. ICs really transformed that CDP. When I got the Cary, I started to roll tubes, but it was still lacking in dynamics and PRAT. I tried a TG Audio 688 powercord on it, and it came alive. I promptly ordered a TG Audio SLVR. Bob Crump sent me a Hi Purity IC to try along with his speaker cables. They have transformed my system.
I still use my Taipan on my amp, and the Viper is better on the powersupply for my Black Cube Phono pre than the 688. This is the fun part of our hobby, mix and match like a puzzle. Regards
