I need help with how to wire the Hubbell 4Plex 15A hospital grade outlet. I am using 12AWG stranded wire and it is just too thick to secure around the screws. The instructions are pretty useless (print is way too small) I tried using Monster 24K 10-12AWG spades but could not crimp them ( I don't have a crimping tool) I applied some solder to the spades to keep the wire from coming out. I'm not confident with this, any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, what's with the cheap screws securing the cord holder to the base plate? I can only turn them a few times, they don't tighten sufficiently.
