You guys would NEVER believe how much power is being run on 27 Mhz nowadays unless you saw it for yourselves. I have pictures of installations that would make your jaw drop. This is not to say that everyone is running illegally though. Let's just say that outboard amplification is WAY more common nowadays than it was 20 years ago. Luckily, the designs have gotten a little better and aren't "quite" as dirty. Sean
