Re: SHORT AC POWER CORDS

Glen,

Oh, so nice of you to drop in with your informed, well researched answer Glen.

First, the cost difference between say three feet and 5-6ft is not significant. As in not much money. I think the per foot cost is listed on their site.

Second, the amount of space you put between the "bad" wire in your wall and the "good" isolated, designed for audio cable going to your component, the better. No? I put JPS Power AC(8awg) from Panel to wall which made a huge difference in sound quality. But, not nearly as much an improvement as my choice of cable going from wall to component. Among people famliar with PC's, this is not "breaking" news.

Glen, are you familiar with the cable sweepsa is inquiring about? Or other well designed PC's? If not, why make flippant comments that provide little information to someone with a simple question? If you have information that a specific manufacturer is ripping people off or charging exhorbitant cost to performance mark ups please share specifics, share your experience, enlighten us.

sweepsa: I think a five foot length would both cover your wish for brevity and allow the needed space for the PC to have the desired effect on the AC signal. Shorter than that and you start to lose the advantage of having the high grade PC. My .02

Grant
