Advice on building DIY power cable using AQ speaker cable

Hi all,
I want to build a power cable for my Rogue Tempest integrated. I have some old Audioquest Granite speaker cable lying around, and was thinking of using it for this purpose. Any suggestions on the best way to utilize this cable for power purposes (braiding, etc)?
Also haven't decided on terminations yet. Figure Hubbell hosp grade or Marinco should do the trick... Any suggestions warmly welcomed!
