I don't see hook-up as a problem.The cables are insulated, except the small cut-outs on the ends.Choose one, install it and then install the other side.They can lay on top of each other.The ribbon is flexible enough that it can be slightly "cupped" without damage.
These cables took me back to my 16/24 track studio days.
Nothing forced or un-natural.Everything has good bloom and extension.A healthy warmish balance, but not over-the-top.
Really like the Silver IC,but can already appreciate what the Fidelium IC might bring to the table.
My friend took a trial and preferred his Magnan ribbon in cotton.I believe that he found the Magnans fuller/more prominent through the mid-bass.
As a final note,I had been evaluating ICs/Spkr cables for a long while.Had been trying to come to grips with the different trade-offs.When these arrived, the system took off.Great depth/width.You can focus on a single performer or the complete entourage.It will allow your equipment to establish the recording venue and not lose a performer.
Really impressive, from my point of view.Definitely worth a listen.
