Interestingly, Mike, during test 1 I also learnt my own implicit bias. I thought Furutech was better but my wife prefered Kimber 8tc. She pointed out cable B (furutech) had a sharpness to the sound that was a bit grating. Once she pointed it out I couldn't unhear it either and had to agree with her. So the semi-blind test was a useful experience for me to see my own bias toward Furutech (based upon reputation).Cable break-in was another phenomenon that I will never doubt again. The Kimber 8tc (well-broken in for a month) was my stable benchmark and the Furutech clearly overtook it over a period of a month. (Chris V H had warned me that the breakin period was several hundred hours but I had doubted the difference would be this big.)
