My question has always been this: if you don't like the fi of your hifi,
how do you know where to start making changes? Cables? Tubes? Phono cart?
DAC? Electrical? Room acoustics? Convert from LP to digital or vice
versa?
Nothing's perfect, so find a setup you like and start listening to music.
Isn't that why you have an audio rig in the first place? And spend any
excess funds on concerts and new recordings.
