RE: Damn unshielded "shielded" cables

I've received these MPS plugs and installed them on a very short length (about 15") of VDH D102 MKIII. They are not the "Pioneer" model, but a slightly cheaper, also golden plated copper with low mass and hollow center pin.

I connected the shield at both ends.

I must say this is the most silent cable I've had; I have this new crossover on the way so it's not so important anymore (Mark from Sublime Acoustic assures me his crossover is relatively immune to RFI perturbations, altho there's no 100% guaranty) but it also SOUNDS very good: solid and detailed, well articulated. I haven't heard that piece of cable sounding that good before (with cheap fake Monster plugs) so the MPS are a great upgrade.
