Your power amplifier is the component that (primarily) determines speaker cable audibility. You mention nearly everything 'but' that. :)

I don't think there's anything wrong with your existing BJ cable, but if you're bound and determined to try something different, I would suggest KnuKonceptz Kord Kable. About $30/100feet in 16 awg. With speakers like yours and the short runs, 16 awg is more than sufficient.
