Do exactly as Duster said. It will be an OK cable. I'm the wrong guy to ask, since I just finished purging my entire system of shielded twisted-pair cable and replacing everything with high quality coax. I like the results, but as an avid DIY-er there's 2 things to consider: 1.) I'm still giddy from the inhalation of solder and rosin fumes. It all sounds better when under the influence! And 2.) When you change out a cable a lot of things happen, the smallest of which is that you clean and reset the connectors and re-route the cables after "X" years, which actually may have the greatest audible effect.
Good luck with your project.
