RE: Why Bi-Amp?

"People always say you need an active crossover to remove LF from the HF amp etc but it's NOT true."

Me thinks you need to do some reading on this topic.
Pre-amplifier filtering is the only way to bandwidth-limit the work of the amplifier in BOTH voltage and current.
Passive-biamping (what a stupid term) splitting a high-level crossover removes a portion of the current load from a particular source, but the voltage drive remains the same and out-of-band potential voltage clipping still has the ability to inflict itself into the passband.

And this not even mentioning the logical progression of removing the high-level crossovers.

After so many years, the misunderstanding from audiophiles on this topic still amazes me.
