Highs in my meaning full manor do not roll off because I use 24ga wire for IC's and bundles of 18ga and 20ga for speaker mids and highs.
I really don't care what a chart says when I have clearly heard a difference. Weren't you just asking about the sound of resistors? According to any technician, resistors of similar construction cannot possibly alter the sound in any meaningful manner, and they would laugh at your concern.
