Read up on the long-simmering debate re. bi-wiring. I gave it up because Jim Thiel told me to run a single, fatter cable, and I'm just a Bear. If you bi-wire, in any case, I would consider making the runs absolutely identical and exactly the same length to, say, +/- .1mm. Do this to avoid any small, potential difference in the signal delivered to the high section versus the low, for the sake of coherence. I do not see any technical advantage to bi-wiring, beyond the effects of (potential) added wire gage.
