Looking through the archives on the question of audio impacts from data cable / RJ-45 cable setups, there isn't much in the way of comparison or clear recommendations. Did I miss it? The effects of this cable may be pretty subtle, but it falls into a Bear's general caveat: "I just don't want any generic junk in my system anywhere..."
It's too much of an oversimplification to say that these wires carry your streamed audio. It's there, but in the form of digital data not as streams. Digital data is a packet format with error checking, so this may actually be the fundamental plane beyond where bits are "just bits"
I'm going to try a couple new Belkin "Cat 6 Snagless Patch Cables / RJ45" per the below. It's specs appear excellent, exceeding Cat 6A, and Belkin's construction seems generally good overall. A 10-footer in tasteful safety orange is under $8 bux at that big online retailer.
