I found a set of 8 of these little dudes I got from the original Old Colony Sound folks circa 1984-ish. They are made beautifully and look and feel nice; I recall OCS touting them as decent connectors. I have a set in now at line evel (preamp-to-amp) with some generic guitar coax and they sound quite clear with a fine octave-to-octave balance, first blush. I intend to try them with some silver plated coax that I've been fooling around with lately, this weekend. In this application, I think the advantage of having a very small light body with a very short internal wiring will be helpful. The braid is compression connected.
