Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

Look to the connectors

Just as much as cable geometry and materials, the connectors play a vital role in determining the voice of a power cord. For a low current device such as a DAC, a heavier cord with no shielding might not give you the results you want, and you certainly don't need more current capacity. If you're trying to flesh out midrange and upper bass, copper/gold plate should be a first choice, and Furutech F11 series would be excellent quality and superb value. Check to see what you have now.

If you can use a screwdriver, there is nothing difficult about swapping connectors. Of course, you will then not have a factory-made power cord, but you will probably have better sound.
