You have obviously discovered superconductors. Do you keep your speaker cables near absolute zero?
47 Labs is the company that sold audiophools the original gainclone amp, a cheap assembly of $5 LM3886 chips and a handful of average quality components for which they charged a lot of money. Perhaps their magical 26ga wire is also worth a lot more than one would expect, as it somehow bends the laws of physics. Must be all that wonderful insulation.
There is a sweet spot for speaker cable size, and 26ga ain't it. Neither is 10 or 12ga, at least as a single solid core wire.
