I decided to take a swing at the simple task of adding a 320i onto the bare wire end of a power cord. The brands aren't important or impressive. Anyways, I used a simple multi-meter to check for continuity and to see if there were any shorts in the wire. In an adding suspenders to a belt type of move, I also checked out a generic Volex type cord to see if my wiring matched up and it looks like I met the simple test.
Other than hooking it up to my power distribution box which has a fast acting circuit breaker and firing up, is there any test procedure I might have missed?
