Just about all of the name brand cables and connectors from China are counterfeit. You can't get an Oyaide plug for $6.99! The base model now sells for $78.00. I have seen Nordost Odin interconnects advertised for $100 or less. These retail for almost 10K! I think they get away with it because they advertise some of these knockoffs as "used" I do buy some of their connectors for my cables as they do offer good value, however they are not the real thing.
