High Fidelity Cables CT-1 interconnect-Review

....I'll admit to being somewhat of a cable junky. i have tried some of what are considered to be the best interconnects on the market in the past 10 or so years since settling on the main components of my system. most of the changes brought about an improvement in my system that i thought would be the last upgrade i would need...some of the changes were not an improvement and i quickly reverted back to the previous cable.most of the cables ...interconnects for this post....would be considered expensive to most here on the 'asylum'..i have read many posts on the subject of 'more expensive is not necessarily better' and for the most part did NOT buy into that idea. that being said, i recently had the opportunity to try Rick Schultz's CT-1 interconnects. i read alot of the posts on many of the audio forums on the web and was interested in many of his customers findings that his cables out performed previously purchased cables that were many times the cost of Rick's CT-1 interconnect.the technology employed by Rick in his CT-1 interconnects is what he calls 'magnetic conduction'.i have absolutely no idea what that involves nor do i care. i was only concerned about their sonic capabilities compared to the cables i was currently using which were 2 and 3 times the price, respectively.Rick has one of alan kafton's audiodharma cable cookers which he employs to burn in the cables prior to selling. this allows to cables to sound almost their best when arriving. they do continue to improve for a couple of hundred hrs after installing them, however.right out of the box, after allowing them to settle in for 2-3 hrs they sounded superb..i should mention that the workmanship is some of the best i have seen. the special connectors are the best RCA's i have had in my system at maintaining their hold. there is no tightening needed. they just fit perfectly.the sound from each disc, both cd and sacd and from my computer-based system was immediately better then before. this with replacing just the cable between my preamp and my monoblock SET amps.the cables improve all aspects of the frequency spectrum. transient responses are lightening quick. drums..wood blocks ..plucked guitar strings ...violin pizzicato moments are the best i have heard. the soundstage is wider now and what is more important to me is that it is deeper also.cymbals have the sheen and decay they should have.vocal intonations are so real. all these areas improved with just the addition of the 1st cable. what i really wasn't expecting was the significant additive effect, call it synergy, of the second cable i added. that one from my cd/sacd player and from my other source, my PWD.i have not seen a formal review of these cables to this point but my guess is that when one of the mainstream periodicals or web-based audio sites does review these cables they will be, like i am, amazed at how great they sound. they will be comparing them to cables costing many, many times the current cost of Rick's cables.i understand that Rick has been in the cable business for sometime but these are the first cables of his i have tried. he currently is working ,i believe, on speaker cables to compliment the CT-1 .i will certainly be in line to try them also.
