HifiSoundGuy,
I have been following your threads on all the other Audio Forums (eCoustics, AVguide, audiocircle, Audiogon, audiokharma, etc) for the past several months now regarding the Maestro Outlets. I don't know whether to be impressed by your enthusiasm for these Outlets or be wary that you are just shilling/pumping these outlets. I think I will give you the benefit of the doubt and go with the first option.
Near the beginning of this year I bought a Porter Port from Albert Porter on Audiogon and was very impressed with the increased resolution, greater separation in the vocals and instruments, increase in soundstage width/depth, and tighter bass. You have peaked my interest with the maestro outlet and I may give one a try in a few months (although changing the cheap outlet with the Porter Port was not a fun exercise due to a tight squeeze in limited space). :) So what aspects of the sound of your system improved when you went from the Porter Ports to the Maestro outlet? Can you explain in detail of what one might expect in making this change? Thanks.
