RE: BEST sub $10 RCA's

Believe it or don't, the cheap nickel Radio Shack RCA connectors actually sound really good! Problem is they fall apart easily, can be difficult to solder the center pin, and they look like crap. 3 bucks for a bag of 8. I think they sound better than the Canares, and I hear they compare well to Eichmann's, but haven't ever compared the two personally.

The Neutrik's (aka Rean) with the gold pin and silver insulator used to sound really good without the same shortcomings. (part no. NYS352G, ~$2 each) I only say "used to" because I bought mine about six years ago, and I heard mention that they had diminished. (If you do end up using these, please post your results!)
