A big favorite of mine (if you're looking for 10 or 12 AWG) is Carol Company cable (a really old manufacturer like Belden) available at Home Depot. It uses really good stranded wire wire and tightly twisted and flexible. The rubber jacket is tough and flexible and the conductors are well separated. It looks a lot nicer if you dress it up with some nylon mesh sleeving (but it doesn't sound any better ;-)
