Sorry I didn't get back with you sooner, wasn't getting e-mail thread replies.

I used the Eichmann bullet plugs, Cardas solder, and that new teflon tube stuff he's selling for the core material.
I'm not going to say what cables I compared them to in public :-(

I have a new pre-amp coming this week and am going to test the 2 cables again once it's here & broke in.

I may be building 1 more set of these in balanced configuration.

BTW, parts cost that was pre-filed in on the review page is outdated. Cost with shipping for a 3 ft pair was about $160. (with enough wire left over for a second pair)
