I am using a huge (2400VA) OneAC isolation transformer for my CD Player and preamp. I bypassed the internal capacitor completely and ran 3 separate sets of 12 AWG solid core wires from each outlet back to the output of the transformer - plus added high voltage Auricaps to the back of all 3 P&S 5362 outlet - and the sound was slightly improved over running those 2 directly into the wall. The only issue is that there is the inevitable mechanical buzzing noise being emitted from the unit itself. Unfortunately I have to use the OneAC in the system now as I only have one dedicated wall duplex outlet to power the whole system (until renovations are undertaken).Having said that, I wanted to ask where the most beneficial place to put a single Oyaide outlet in my setup might be? The OneAC unit is plugged into the top outlet of the dedicated duplex outlet, with the power amp being plugged into the lower outlet.
Any suggestions/ideas?
Thx in advance!
