cable conundrum?

Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

..knowing full well that it isn't a good idea to run cables...in this case power cables...parallel to each other in ones' setup...especially if they do ,by necessity,touch each other... is there a way..if that is impossible to avoid, to isolate them from one another via some material that could be inserted between the cables and thus keep the harmful effects of that closeness to a minimum?.....
