I think that ultimately, the VH Audio cable someone suggested might be best, I just dont't want to spend that much on speaker cables right now. I've also read the opinions of a few people who think the Cardas cable is a bit colored. I think it might make my system overall too soft right now, so I think I'll give the Nordost a try. Maybe eventually I'll look into the VH Audio cable again.

The locking bananas on the DIY cable site look quite simliar in design to the ultralinks, so I'll probably go with those since they are much cheaper. I'll post my results when I'm done.

I'm hoping this cable will do a nice job in my system. There are lots of other parts of the stereo that I would priortize upgrading over speaker cable right now. I'm sure eventually I'll want to revisit the cable issue, it just might not be for a little while.
