In my new apartment the WAF layout leans towards me keeping my front end on a side wall near my listening position and the speakers out in the room all by their lonesome. In order to do this, I'd need exceptionally long speaker cables to reach the far speaker. However, I've noticed that the standard wisdom is to keep speaker cable lengths as short as possible.
Will I lose something if I go from 6' long speaker cables to maybe 12' (or longer) cables?
Currently using shotgun Kimber 8TC from a Rogue Tempest integrated into Silverline Sonatina's.
Thanks!
Ed
