I seem to hearing that its a type of resin that has a damping effect. I tried an experiment a few years ago & made a cable with some silicone in a box & it did change the sound. It sucked all the detail out & made the music seem lifeless.
I think Transparent has a resin thats got ground tiger tooth & yaks blood collected at the full moon to give them their magic fat sound.regards
