"I now have multiple e-mails now from Belden that say the opposite".The opposite of what ? Please be specific.
The website that you previously posted verified some of the changes that i stated. This is in regards to going from solid wire to the stranded center conductor ( 9913 to 9913F ). They also mentioned the differences in dielectric materials and their geometries in those two cables.
Like i said, my cautions were pertaining to the original 9913 with solid center and air gap dielectric. If your using the 9913F, most of these points are moot. Just make sure of what you have before starting the project.
As to seeing Belden's email's, fire them over to me. I'd be glad to take a look at them. Keep in mind that there isn't a manufacturer around that would like to admit that their products may have design faults. On the other hand, i'm simply an end user with nothing to lose by reporting my honest findings with that same product. Then again, your recommendations for using this cable are outside of all of my experiences with it and Belden's recommended usages. Sean
