I used to have a similar setup to yours: Meridian 508 CD player, Joule-Electra pre, Cary 805C amps, and ProAc 2.5 loudspeakers.Cardas Golden Cross cables worked well, as did Nirvana.
On the budget side, $600 4708 OTA Cable Kit from 47 Labs @ http://www.sakurasystems.com/ worked on a level equal to the GC & Nirvana and will provide enough for speaker cables (bi-wired or tri) and several pairs of interconnects. One caution: they are kind of fragile, and are at their best if you don't plug & unplug a lot. You can buy them over the web from 47 Labs--just sent an e-mail for info.
Never tried the AN stuff, so can't help you there.
