Hello All,

I own the R2. Probably the best speaker that can be had in used market IMHO. It's the midrange that makes it so sweet as well as clarity & openess. I drive them with my EKSC eagle 2C SS amp and they still sound killer!
However, not the last word in lower registers. My question is has anyone compared these classics first hand. I found a s/h pair of 3's for 2K and wonder if it's worth dishing out the extra dough which is real tight right now.
Would I get everything the 2's do so well with more bass or get a little more bass and loose what the 2 excell in....Image.
