I have a pair of Audio Physic Libras which in the past I was driving with a Music Reference RM9 Mk II, 125 watts with 6550 tubes. I started with Cardas Cross speaker cables (smooth but lacking detail), then tried several brands I have either forgotten or want to forget (Alpha Core was one)with poor results. I tried the Nordost SPM Reference, which had great detail be sounded a bit lean. I then tried both the Cardas Golden Reference and the Golden Cross, finally selecting the Golden Cross, which gave a slightly richer, warmer sound. The Golden Reference was pretty awsome in the quiet, black background it gave. I was also trying interconnects of similar brands while doing the speaker cables and ended up liking the Cardas Golden Reference best. I now use the Golden Reference for all interconnects and the Golden Cross for the speaker cables.
