I wanted to compare the P140 to the P12 but it has been difficult locating a P12 because it is no longer in production. I did, however, hear the P11 a few years back. They were used to drive a pair of ProAc 2.5 and boy that was a very good match. It was one of the first tube setups that I really liked because it handled my dance music very well. All the vocals that I listened to was presented with lots of air and naturalness that I could ask for. You see...I am a convert from solid state. I wanted a warm and sweet sound. It would be hard for me to tell you how the P140 has evolved from the earlier CJ amps. I just knew that it was an exceptional match with the WATT/Puppy 7 and the ART just makes everything that much better.
