I'm just starting to look and see what is out there, and based on the research I've done thus far I am sold on getting quality cables, but at the same time have learned that you don't have to pay these insanely infalted prices to get very good cables--so I ws looking for input from those who have been in this position.
I am leaning toward the solid silver simply due to the sound enhancements I want coupled with the generalizations I've heard about the "sound of silver" (vs copper).
If you've shopped here in Hong kong (for anything, not just audio equip) they do not employ the most "user friendly" sales process, and I can try the cables from 2 dealers here, but they only carry a few brands (and they are very pricey). I'm going to look into norh's options simply because the 2 friends I have who've norh products have raved about the service, quality of workmanship, and performance of the products.
