I am currently in the same dilemma. If your speakers are a true 3-way design (HF posts go to the midrange and tweeter, LF posts go to the bass/woofer), I would put the speaker cables on the HF posts and then jumper to the LF posts with sufficient-size wiring. You can alter the amount of bass you will hear by increasing/decreasing the overall amount of wire you have on each + and - post pair.I am currently using 16 strands of Belden CAT5 teflon-insulated copper wire twisted together, w/8 strands going to each of the HF and LF posts. Since vocals are in the mid/HF range, I prefer to have the cables providing the signal to the HF posts. You could buy some good spade terminals, and a few feet of Belden CAT5 and maybe even some teflon insulated solid core silver wire, and make your own. I am in the process of buying these materials for my own experimentaion. BTW, I did hear a difference when the jumper wires were not twisted together, so make sure you do that no matter what.
Another twist on the whole thing is to put the cable on the HF+ post and the LF- post, and jumper accordingly. I plan on experimenting with that when I am off work tomorrow.
