...trying out expensive cables (e.g., the Bi-Focal XL), seeing that they get you so much closer to the music than before, then having to return them. And then you go back to your old cables, and they just don't cut it. So you plot, and scheme, and sacrifice, and save, and eventually belly up for those $$$$ cables. To anyone who has actually paid the price for these expensive beasts, products like the great bang-for-the-buck 4TC seem, well, "cheap." But yeah, to 85% of the people out there, $300 for a bi-wired set of 4TC is not "cheap." Okay, you got me. I'll try my damndest to use better euphemisms in place of the word "cheap," like "affordable," "economical," "low-end," and "budget."
