With most bi-wireable speakers, biwiring with a good but cheap cable often yields clearer sound than if you single wire with stellar cable and add a jumper. For example, on the SF Concertino, Totem Model One Sig, PSB Sratus Mini, and ProAc Response One SC, I tried (a) single run of KS-3033 and jumper (all with WBT connectors), and (b) discreet bi-wire 4TC with regular Kimber bananas. Lo and behold, with the aforementioned speakers, I got more coherent sound with the latter, though it's a lot cheaper than the KS-3033.
Alas, the Bi-Focal XL blows these two away, but we'll save that for another day.
