That if you descide to "bite the bullet" and just go with single running for a while, your cable budget just effectively doubled :)IF one can handle the trade-offs (and I think I can, given how I listen, my listening style and wants), it MIGHT be the case that a single really well designed cable can mitigate these tradeoffs a bit -- unless, of course, the "problems" of single-wiring is that we are getting rid of some hifi-ish euphony and ear candy we have grown used to and that in fact the single cable passing the signal whole just wont ever do the things we've heard because of the double running of cables and what they do to the coheence of the signal, speaker, etc.
