Pcanis:What speakers do you have? I have owned the Signet SL280 and now the ProAc Response One SC. With these speakers, anyway, bi-wiring, even with a lower grade cable, is better than a single run.
For example, I got better sound with a bi-wire set of Kimber 4TC, versus a single run of Kimber Select KS-3033. I have no idea why that is. But one thing I can't stand is that a bi-wire set costs twice as much as a single run, and looks terrible, with all that cable behind the speakers.
I am upgrading other parts of my system, but when I get around to trying out other speaker cables, I'll let you know how it goes. Cheers!
